Generally, these types of panels are used by residences, apartments, & a few industries. Usually the Metering panels are designed according to the KEB rules only. Relevant height is given for the panels so that meter reading is easily done. The Busbar, Incoming Switches, Master Meter & CT Chamber are designed by making sealing arrangements as per KEB rules. MCB’s or ELCB’s are given for outgoing circuits.

Whenever DG Power is to be supplied to the Apartment or Commercial Establishment during times of EB Power Supply failure, an Automatic Changeover/Current Limiter is generally used. This automatically changes over the power from EB to DG and back; and limits the use of the DG power to a pre-set limit so as not to overload the DG set.
